Experiences of a young British family.
In early 2024, we sold our house in Dorset, England. We sold 95% of our possessions, our house, both of our cars, and the small IT business that was our sole income for the 7 years since having children. We didn’t sell the kids, but we did start home educating them. The four of us moved into a campervan and took off on a new adventure.
Learning By Hart, started in late 2025, is both our journal and our story, and it’s still being written. We want to share how we educate not just our children and prepare them for the modern world, but also how as adults and parents we must continue to learn, too.
We hope that by sharing our journey, we will create a connection with you, our reader. Perhaps it will give you the confidence to try something new, or provide a sense of reassurance about your own decisions. We can’t wait to hear your stories and to connect with you.
